
My 30 years as a commercial photographer taught me many things. One of the most important things I learned was identifying who you are. I had to do it, the agencies I worked for had to do it and most importantly, the agency had to provide it for their clients. We are in an industry (wedding photography) providing many options for brides – so many they get confused as to who’s work they are looking at from one site or book to the next. It is important that if a bride is viewing your work, especially if it is before they visit you personally that you must have a vehicle that delivers who you are, and it is your brand identity.
